How the programme works

Your role is to make the introduction and facilitate the initial conversation. iSkool handles onboarding, technical setup, and account management from there.

Submit an application

Complete the form below. We review every application individually and respond within 3–5 business days. Approved partners receive a referral code and a partner agreement.

Register and introduce a school

Register the school using your referral code before any engagement begins. Make the introduction to the relevant decision-makers — iSkool takes it through from there.

Receive commission

Once the school's payment is confirmed, your 10% is processed within 30 days. The same applies to every annual renewal for the duration of the school's subscription.

Referral options

Two routes to a subscription

Partners can approach schools either way. The right option depends on the school's readiness and the nature of your relationship with them.

Option A

Free 6-month pilot

Suitable when a school wants to evaluate the platform before committing. The pilot removes the barrier to getting started and gives the school time to see the value of iSkool in practice.

Programme terms

What partners need to know

These terms govern the partner relationship and apply to all approved partners from the date of their agreement.

Pricing is fixed

The subscription rate is set by iSkool and is not open to negotiation. Partners may not offer discounts or alternative pricing to schools.

Referrals must be registered first

Every referral must be logged through your unique partner code before any engagement with the school begins. Referrals made outside this process cannot be tracked or paid.

One partner per school

The first registered referral takes precedence. If a school has already been registered by another partner, you will be notified before any further engagement takes place.

Commission paid on confirmed payment

Commission is processed within 30 days of the school's subscription payment clearing. For pilot conversions, this begins at first payment — not during the pilot itself.

Accurate representation required

Partners may not make commitments beyond what iSkool has agreed to. Misrepresentation of the product, its pricing, or its capabilities is grounds for termination of the partnership.

There is no time limit on commission from a referred school. Commission continues to be paid on every annual renewal for as long as the school's subscription remains active.

Common questions

The programme is open to individuals with genuine, existing relationships in the South African school sector — including educators, education consultants, ICT specialists, school administrators, and others who regularly engage with school leadership. Applications are reviewed individually; there is no automated approval process.
No. Commission is only paid when a school is on a paid subscription. For Option A referrals, commission begins when the school converts to a paid subscription at the end of the pilot. No commission is generated during the free pilot period itself.
If a school completes the pilot and does not subscribe, no commission is paid. Partners who stay in contact with their referred schools during the pilot — answering questions and facilitating the relationship — typically see better conversion outcomes.
Yes. There is no limit on the number of schools you can refer. Each school that subscribes is tracked separately through your referral code, and commission from each is managed independently.
We aim to review all applications within 3–5 business days. If approved, you will receive your partner agreement and referral code by email. If we need further information, we will contact you directly.
